David Metzger died Sunday evening at a Battle Creek sanitarium after years of ill health. His son Irvin was with him. Arthur Grimes aided in bringing the body home. He leaves seven children including Mrs. Frank Otyalt, Lyman, Melvin, Mrs. Frantz, Mrs. Grimes, Irvin, and Marie. Funeral set for Saturday at 10 o'clock at Brick church near North Manchester with Revs. Wright and Butterbaugh. burial in nearby cemetery.
