Diphtheria Claims Life of Young Goshen Girl
Lillian Romayne Carter four years three months daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Carter of West Pike street died yesterday of diphtheria. She and her younger sister had improved Saturday before paralysis of the heart caused her death. Survived by parents and one sister, the burial was private at 9 this morning. Mrs. Carter formerly Miss Estella Arnold of Goshen.

Runaway Accident Injures Van Rissinger Near Town
Van Rissinger suffered a severely bruised shin after a runaway horse kicked the buggy near the J. F. Clymer place. The horse frightened by a dog began to run and collided with a telegraph pole, becoming entangled in a wire fence. He limped for several days.
