Mrs Josephine Babcock wife of J J Babcock died at her Warsaw residence at 11 30 last Friday after a lengthy illness from high blood pressure. She was born March 5 1850 in Philadelphia and later married William W Walls in 1872 and James J Babcock in 1912. Funeral service was held at the home and interment was in Champaign on Monday. she left five children two of whom survived.
