Robert M. Jontz of the area died last Friday at 9:50 am after a lengthy illness from stomach kidney and heart trouble. He lived on the same farm his entire life and was highly respected by a large circle of acquaintances. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the U B Church with Rev E Wright officiating, leaving a bereaved wife and children in mourning.
The family of R. M. Jontz extends thanks to friends and neighbors for support during illness and the death and burial of their husband and father. Mrs. R. M. Jontz and Children express deep gratitude.

Mrs Philip Amiss wife of an Erie engineer underwent an operation at her East Market Street home on Friday to remove a fatty tumor. The procedure was entirely successful and a rapid recovery is expected. She is the daughter of Mrs Hannah Armey of this place and arrived from Huntington with her two children Harold and Olive to stay during her recovery. Latest reports say she is doing nicely.
