Mrs. Inez Cling, 30, of 215 East Movument avenue, accidentally ingested a dangerous creosote and carbonate of mercury mixture. Prompt antidotes by Motorceps Heywood and McMinns and timely medical care at Miami Valley hospital led to stomach pumping and a recovery.

Land sale near town edges to farmer Alex Netzen

A tract of five and three quarter acres at the northeast edge of town was disposed to Alex Netzen by Hiram Bager on Monday. The land lies four drive squares from Netzen’s home and will provide ample space for farming.

Rev. Levi Aili led meetings at the Franklin church three miles west of town for five weeks. The revival records twenty three conversions and nine or ten seekers not fully converted when the meeting closed. This was Rev. Hill's first series conducting alone and he was very successful.

Rager Sells House to Hamman In Fairview Addition

Francis Rager sold his North Jefferson Street house to Mont Hamman. Hamman will relocate the house to his lot in Fairview addition east part of town and a bungalow dwelling will be erected on the old site as soon as the move is complete and weather allows.

Large Crowds Attend Sales From Local Firms

A series of sales drew sizable crowds last weekend with L. D. Underhill recovering from indigestion after a sick spell. A large turnout gathered for Keller and Sheely sale Tuesday and Harry Kline sale yesterday. Today’s C. E. Lester sale also drew a strong crowd. Items offered brought fair prices.

Mrs. Dennis Dulany Returns Home After Seven Weeks

Mrs. Dennis Dulany of North Manchester returned home last Saturday after seven weeks away. She underwent an operation in Bend and spent nine days in a hospital before moving to a relative’s home. Since returning she is able to be about the house with help. Her husband Mr. Dulany is now confined to his home with a severe attack of lagrippe.
