In 1908 a cement factory in Syracuse is planned to be enlarged this spring. The Kysciuske county Republican convention is slated for Tuesday May 27 at Lake Side Park Warsaw. Belgium’s National Society of Street Applied Art promotes attractive public signs and decor with prizes for house fronts and gardens, backed by local authorities.

Mrs. Keesey advertises a spring and summer hat line. Waltz Sisters Big Specialty Show arrives June 21. Robbers attempted Macy bank last Friday night. a guard alarmed the street, robbers fled by handcar. Tailor W. O. Feudner earns praise for merit as Silver Lake garments draw dressers. A wedding serenade followed by a donation at Colbert & Son’s marked Rev. Kline’s home nuptials.
Local notes report Willard Fitton transacted business in Warsaw on Wednesday and the birth of a girl to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lyon on April 11, 1902. Mentions John Gill moving home, John Simison a county auditor candidate, and community notices on farming, coffee quality, and local visits. Funeral for John Lawrence held at South Pleasant church. obituary promised next week.

S D Henderson has sold the machinery in his feed mill at this place to Harry Vandermark who will move it to his farm near Mentone. A team owned by James Gill ran away in town causing minor damage. Worley Rhodes Jameson held a successful horse sale with 25 horses sold and notable dealers from Ligonier Albion Milford Argos Warsaw and North Manchester in attendance.
