Soldiers and Sailors Reunion Planned in Indianapolis

Arrangements are under way for a meeting in Indianapolis on May 14 and 15 for regulars and United States volunteer soldiers and sailors who served in Porto Rico Cuba and the Philippines. A reunion event is set for May 14 evening with public invitation. Coal deposits discovered in South Dakota offer easy access though low quality. many ranches rely on their own fuel supply.

All contracted work may be halted and new buildings machinery and equipment needed.

Milford prodigy Arthur Griffith arrested over board bill

Arthur Griffith a Milford mathematical prodigy was arrested at Blaffton for failing to settle a four dollar board bill at the Washington house. After lecturing at M Bd church he checked into Adams house and fled before daylight. A warrant was issued, Griffith resisted, and was finally found at a livery stable where he paid the debt and costs. Goshen News Times
