Grosse Bechtelheimer & Co announces a store opening this Friday at 7 p.m. with music souvenirs and refreshments. The event previews a large new stock for public inspection but no sales will occur during the opening.
Miss Vernie Hoke returned to Anderson Monday. Her term ends in early June and she may go West after teaching. Her Los Angeles father offers to finance summer study and arrange a job in Los Angeles schools, given her success in Anderson.
T. J. Colbert will test the government recommended bacteria inoculation process for leguminous crops. He plans to inoculate two bushels of Alfalfa to sow on his Miami County farm.
Mrs. Lotta Brennemen, Mrs. Cora Friend and daughter Ruth arrived back in town after spending the winter in California. They say they prefer the California climate to Indiana's variable weather and are glad to be home.

After the ceremony a reception followed and the couple will reside on the Ball farm once arrangements are complete. Mr and Mrs Ball plan to move to Silver Lake after purchasing the Alspaugh property on North Jefferson Street.
Misses Ella Stickel and Ma ble Martindale left on the 10 35 Monday train for Terre Haute to attend the spring term of the State Normal. They hoped to catch an earlier train via agent Bussard but missed it and had to wait for the next.

Wells County sues ex trustee McCullick of Chester Township for 3000, while he defends his past business as legitimate.

Dr Daniel E Terry died at his Rochester home at 730 am on Saturday April 8 after a long illness. Born in Seneca New York in 1829 he was past 76. He lived in our town over thirty years practicing medicine before moving to Rochester. He leaves a wife and three children Dr P E Terry Mrs Dora Davis of Rochester and Dr Charles Terry of South Bend. Funeral from home at 2 pm Monday conducted by Rev Co Be and the remains laid to rest in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
