Mrs William Dumman aged 88 died this morning after a prolonged illness. Funeral services will be held at the TOP church on Saturday afternoon with burial in Akron Cemetery. Survived by her husband and two sons.

Mrs. William Perry received notice of the death of Rev Joshua A Barrett at his Topeka home. He was over sixty years of age and had served as a minister for sixty years with his first pastorate at Nicunza. During his active years he and family lived at Nicunza and Mrs Perry knew of his ministry since moving to Kansas.
Harve Geiger and his wife visited this past Saturday and are staying at the Sprigg home. Geiger taught the Graveltam school last winter and with the Graveltam term ending Friday they plan a vacation in Silver Lake.
Claire Paulus was quite sick earlier in the week but is recovering and hoped to regain full health. John Rowland, north of town, had grip and complications but is much improved. J C Tucker, southeast of town, was ill this week with a Fort Wayne doctor called to his bedside.
EF Hamman is moving the Francis Rager house to his Fairview addition. He plans to fix the property and occupy it soon.
Mrs. Samuel Smith visited her daughter Mrs. Chester Olinger three miles south of town on Tuesday due to the serious illness of her grandson Herschel, suffering from typhoid pneumonia.
BE W Maggert moves west to Warsaw Wednesday to take a position in a paint and wallpaper store and perform papering painting and contract work. The family will move there the first of next week.
Mr and Mrs C C Carter came home last Saturday after visiting in Renselaer where they aided Mrs Bull, mother of Mrs Carter, who remains in poor health and feeble at age 88.
The cream station used by James Harter north of the Dr. Leckrone office was bought by Percy Walburn and relocated to a lot in Fairview addition. It will be remodeled and used as a residence.
Lloyd Hinkie a well known resident traveling for a Rochester grocery firm was injured when his car near Markle lost steering gear and crashed over an embankment. He suffered a broken foot multiple fractures and scratches but is expected to fully recover after several weeks.
Members of the M. E. Sunday School split into red and blue teams. The blue side will attend by the red team’s members. The event is in the town hall tomorrow evening. Attendees are asked to wear their buttons. A supper around seven thirty will be served followed by a short entertainment.
Mrs Roselve Self with her young daughter Lene departed Thursday for their home in Williston North Dakota after months in town with her brother Mrs Amanda Rhodes and visits with other relatives and friends.
