Historian to discuss life of Grant County ranching icon
The Historical Society of Southwestern New Mexico will host Steve Villarreal at its next regular meeting to share first hand memories of the ELC Lyons Campbell era. Villarreal, a lifelong Grant County resident, will recount his work with the firm and his family’s ranching ventures, offering insights into the era and Tom Lyons’ empire. The talk is at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday May 18 in the Public Library on College Avenue. Public invited.
