In Glasgow a two year old German shepherd named Major injured by an electric junction box fails to win a 765 dollar damages award from the city after the sheriff deems the claim unfounded. The owner, William McGlynn, worked eight weeks off due to the bite and the dog aged rapidly after the incident.

Highlands Board Picks Castillo Preston for Two Renovation Projects

The New Mexico Highlands University Board of Regents chose Castillo-Preston of Albuquerque to design renovations for Sininger Hall dormitory complex and the Science Building. Plans include converting Sininger Hall to classrooms and offices and adding a north wing, plus enlarging labs in the Science Building. If BEF approval follows, construction could finish by early 1978.
