Martina Jimenez Muzquiz died June 2 1976 at her San Antonio home aged 61. A native of Silver City New Mexico she lived here 20 years. Survived by daughter Dangie Garza and sons John Alex and Sam Acosta, sister Angela Madrid and brother Tom Jimenes. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Good Council with interment at San Fernando Cemetery.

Bicentennial Caravan to Display in Silver City
The Armed Forces Bicentennial Caravan arrives in Silver City on Wednesday June 9 with mobile museums from the four services. Army Captain Ken Colucci says it is a concerted effort to bring the Bicentennial closer to the people, not a recruiting program. The display runs 12 to 8 p.m. at Gough Park, admission free. John Lopez chairs the event for the Silver City Bicentennial Committee. American Legion Post 18 provides a color guard for the opening ceremonies.
