The funeral service for Loug das A Ward aged 25 of Pinos Altos will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Curtis Mortuary chapel in Silver City with Rev Keith Benny officiating. Cremation will follow. Ward operated the Buckhorn Saloon and Restaurant in Pinos Altos and died from a gunshot wound received on 2 street in Pinos Altos early Saturday July 13. Survivors include his widow Ernestina A Ward of Pinos Altos, his parents Lionel Ward of Merced, California, and his mother, and his grandfather Harvey S Smith of Merced.
