WNMU To Receive Library Bond Funds For New Library

BEF rejects statewide college enrichment funding plan
The State Board of Educational Finance refused to ask the 1973 legislature for 393000 to expand the College Enrichment program to all six four year colleges. University of New Mexico, New Mexico State University, Highlands, Western New Mexico, Eastern New Mexico, and New Mexico Tech would have shared the funds. The BEF left in place prior allocations for UNM’s College Enrichment and Highlands Open Door. both will continue into the next year.
