Rural land tax appeal paused in revaluation plan
The appeal discusses rural land taxes to be revalued in a two year cycle. Companies and landowners object that city lands lack revaluation and that some would be taxed on a 12 year old assessment. They are ordered to deposit in 88th District Court the taxes paid in 1974 to avoid borrowing by the school district. The fund would then be drawn as needed.
