Sgt Harold Cooper radio operator with the Army Air Corps is missing in action over Holland. His parents Mr and Mrs C H Cooper of Sikeston have been notified by the War Department. He had served two years and was listed missing on September 17. Before service he worked at Curtiss-Wright Aircraft in St Louis. Three of his brothers also serve in the armed forces.

Four Army officers stationed at Malden were killed Tuesday night when two gliders collided near Malden Air Base during a routine combat training flight.
