Father Kills Son Hunting For Rabbits
A hunting trip on Cline’s Island turned fatal whenDwain Hill 21 of Festus Mo was shot by his father Virgil Elmo Hill while loading a 12 gauge pump. The weapon discharged injuring Dwain in the back and shoulder blades. He died en route to Missouri Delta Community Hospital. Dwain Hill, employed by Printsburch Plate Glass Co, is survived by his wife Louise and two daughters Cher e Anne and Carrie Louise. The body was taken to Wes k Funeral Home and later to Pattie Funeral Home at Crystal City.

Born in Martin County Indiana, he was affiliated with the Christian Church.
