Youth Fined For Stealing Milk Bottles
A 15 year old Sikeston schoolboy was fined eight dollars by Judge Frank Smith after being arrested on a milk bottle theft charge. He admitted taking eighteen dollars worth of bottles and reselling them to the Reiss dairy or area groceries. Chief Harold Wallace said the milk bottle thefts are becoming a racket among youths and warned further arrests.

Funeral services were held for Henry Masterson aged Sikeston man killed when he walked in front of a north bound Frisco passenger train near Ruth street.
