Farmers weigh soybeans and corn varieties for near term planting
Cald well cites Sikeston field tests showing soybeans planted by July 10 mature seed across varieties. For corn risk after mid June, hybrids up to July 1 are reasonable but after that use earlier maturing types like U S 35. Recommend 90 to 105 day maturing seed after July 1 and consulting dealer seed charts.
