Charles Dement and Alva Garner announce purchase of Garner Motor Co on South New Madrid street from Homer L. Garner of Poplar Bluff. Dement and Garner will run the Garner-Dement Motor Co keeping Chrysler and Plymouth sales and the service department. Dement will head sales with Ralph Carrol. Garner leads service with three assistants. Bert Lowry remains bookkeeper.
