Elephant Group of Mines seeks a United States patent for Elephant No 7 8 and related lodes in Sierra and Lindbergh districts New Mexico Territory detailing location surveys dates and claimed extents with references to Section 24 26 27 34 and 36 and a long descriptive array of measurements and boundaries. The document lists the Elephant No 7 Lode and Elephant No 8 Lode among others and notes field notes by the surveyor and the district recorder with bearings distances and surrounding terrain.

Ed Tafoya sheriff of Sierra County New Mexico will on Friday May 10 1907 at ten oclock at the East front door of the Hillsboro Court House sell seized property of John Henry Delon and related defendants including stock horses mares carts and a branded brown saddle horse to satisfy a judgment in an assumpsit action for 315.62 plus 851.90 costs at 12 percent interest, to the highest bidder for cash.
