W Parker and France operate as attorneys at law in Hillsborough New Mexico. They promise prompt attention to all business matters entrusted to them and declare readiness to practice in all courts of the territory.
An 1892 era notice recounts the dramatic demise of the California Sequoia gigantea nicknamed Mark Twain. It describes its immense size of over 300 feet tall and 30 feet in diameter, details its trunk, rings, and the exhibition plan at the American Museum of Natural History, and notes related historical timelines and other regionally notable events and opinions.
Jay Gould's will allocates specific bequests to family members including a house pictures and furniture with life annuities of 2000 dollars or a 500000 dollar trust for his grandson. Executors named are George J Gould Edwin Gould and Howard id. Remainder placed in trust for six children, with income to be paid to them for life. The will also directs shares of railroad or other incorporations be held by executors or proxies at all corporate meetings to preserve value.

A boy with wrist nerve destruction recovered after nerve extraction in a cat trial, and another boy had a dislodged fish hook removed by a bullet-assisted method. An official letter from Comr. Stone to miner Henry Masure states the Maxwell grant has been patented by the United States and sustained by the Supreme Court. The lands in New Mexico and Colorado totaling 14,764.04 acres are now private property and cannot be acquired under mineral or other public-land laws.
