Bayard Tigers Edge St Patrick’s In Homecoming Clash

Bayard Tigers beat St Patrick’s 14 to 6 at Weymouth Field in a Homecoming game. Bayard relied on two sustained drives totaling 134 yards rushing while St Patrick’s racked 256 yards with 158 on the ground and 98 in the air. The Irish threaten late but Bayard seals win with a goal line stand and 14-6 final.

Nine Counties See Oil Activity in Nebraska Report

Nine Nebraska counties appear in recent oil news with Kimball Scotts Bluff and Red Willow driving activity. New wells add three barrels per day in Kimball and Scotts Bluff while Cedar Valley in Scotts Bluff enlarges. The Nebraska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission reports nineteen fields producing about 19 000 barrels monthly on average with Sleepy Hollow largest at 238 239 barrels and Kimball’s Single ton Field second at 112 586. Daily production topped 60 000 in summer then about 58 000 in late September.
