Three men from Dalton and Bridgeport face county court hearings on trespassing after an unauthorized tractor ride in Dalton. Two youths sent to Kearney for car theft case in Sidney

Mrs. W. LeRoy Larson a 72 year old from Sidney was seriously injured when her southbound 1949 Dodge sedan stalled on a Burlington at 15th Avenue crossing. The train dragged the car 50 feet and she fell 24 feet from the car. She is in satisfactory condition at Memorial Hospital with multiple serious injuries.

I 80 Paving Holdup Delays North Platte Segment
The final 7.9 miles of Interstate 80 from bridges over the Platte River to the North Platte interchange will not be finished this year due to bad weather and Platte River flooding. Northwestern Engineering Co. reports paving will resume later this fall, with eastbound traffic using Maxwell and westbound traffic via Brady.
