Native Resident Of Sidney Found Dead In Field Near Home
William C. Otteman a 64 year old native of the county was found dead in a hay field two miles east of Sidney. Dr R E Roche said he appeared fatally injured after being dragged by a team of mules. Sheriff W W Schulz found no foul play and noted Otteman’s home showed no signs of entry. Otteman born in Sidney to Christian Otteman and his wife lived on the farm since 1901. He left a daughter Margaret and his aged mother still living in Sidney. Neighbors said he had been cutting hay with the spirited mules recently.

A G Carelton Dies In Truck Crash Near Lodge Pole
A. G. Carelton 58 a Lodge Pole resident and S A Foster Lumber employee died instantly when his truck overturned at the DeBrunner corner on the southwest outskirts of Lodge Pole sheriff says he likely lost control or fell asleep. He survived by wife three sons Ralph James and Kenneth and daughter Mrs Floyd Wise and the two sons were due home from New Jersey that evening. The Telegraph has no funeral date yet.
