The 4 September 1905 board meeting approved filings, set election date for 7 November 1905, and ordered a county-creation proposition to be submitted to voters with defined boundaries and voting procedures.

County Education Progress in Cheyenne County Annual Report

The annual report by County Superintendent Knox shows Cheyenne County funds for general education totaling $30,836.85 with $5,578.26 to male teachers and $19,230.56 to female teachers, plus $601.01 for books and supplies.
