Cob bites Riots Over Proclaimed Sect Murders in Gum Bpriog

A mob of Cobbites led by an old man attacked Humphreys and Blake near Gum Bpriog Arkansas. Humphreys was killed and decapitated, a boy forced to bow to the head, and clashes with villagers ensued. Several were arrested. a coroner's inquest faulted L A Dover and J M Dover as principals. The group fled, with Cobb at large. The affair stemmed from religious frenzy and starvation.
