Old Settlers Activities Draw Crowds and Exhibits
The Old Settlers event featured Floyd Treblick on accordion with family in attendance while Vicki Horst and Larry Stoll performed. The Prairie Schooners Square Dance Club and Peggy Huff with Tina Kripal plus Pam Smith sang. A barbed wire collection by B. E. Helger attracted many, and a horse pulling contest won by Jerry Carson of Hyannis with a 4 450 pound pull plus two men.
