Nick Rochinger and Martin Hollerick, brothers-in-law living near Juniata, quarreled over work last Thursday. Rochinger struck Hollerick with a spade, fled, and Hollerick died Saturday morning after the head wound troubled him. Hollerick married, Rechinger single, they had lived together about ten months.

Ouray's Successor Chosen by Utes at Los Pinya

At the Los Pinya grand council on the 28th, Sapavanero was elected Ouray's successor with Quero and Piah as other applicants.
