Columbus Day Celebrated in Sidney with Band and School

Last Friday Columbus Day was celebrated in Sidney with the Sidney Cornet Band and GAR under Col Couch leading a march to the school. A large delegation of young ladies in national colors joined pupils and teachers on an all out patriotic program including flag raising, songs, prayers, and a multi dept program. The event drew praise for the principal and staff and the Sidney band received acclaim for its performance.
