Sidney Potter Bands Set For Lincoln Marching Festival
Sidney High School will send 115 members to Lincoln for the third annual Nebraska High School Marching Band Festival on November 5. In Class A Sidney, Columbus, Nebraska City, and Plattsmouth compete. Potter, Hay Springs, Humboldt, Litchfield, Osceola, Spencer, and Waverly in Class C. About 6,000 spectators expected at Pershing Auditorium. eight-minute performances with judges from three universities.

Veterans Day program to be held in Peetz school house
A Veterans Day event during Educational Week is planned for November 11 at 7 09 p.m. in the Peetz school house. Auxiliary members are asked to donate one dozen cupcakes for lunch and the community extends condolences to the Kaifer family. The EUB Auxiliary will host a dinner and supper on election day with dining times at 11 30 and 5 00, plus coffee and pie all afternoon.
