Sund News notes Mr George Dailey and daughter from Garnett Kansas spent time at the Clinton Gade home for Outstanding Firemanship. Eddy received a $50 check to defray costs to attend the State Fire School in Grand Island. Eddy has fourteen years with the Dalton department and ten as secretary treasurer. He is a former secretary treasurer of the North Platte Valley Firemen’s Assn which covers 19 western Nebraska towns. Also listed are a charity pin dinner at the Country Club honoring Ohio Oil employees and wives with George receiving a ten year pin, a surprise birthday party for Mrs Dick Schuman hosted by Mrs Clinton Gade in Lodgepole, and weekend visits from Mr and Mrs Cecil Hunt in Sidney with fishing at Lake McConaughy. Mrs H H Misegadis left Tuesday.
