Venerable Mrs Mary C Brown Dies After Long Illness
Mrs Mary C Brown died Tuesday night at 11 after two years of chronic illness and two weeks of deep depression. Born February 14 1827 in England she married Richard Brown May 8 1834. he died July 7 1894. Surviving children include Mrs A Struthers of this city. Funeral Tuesday at 2 at the Struthers home Rev Austin officiated. Remains went to North Platte Thursday and were buried beside her husband Friday. Struthers and Mrs W F Bassett accompanied the casket.

Thompson Bruner wedding at Sidney home
The marriage of John Thompson and Misa Susie Bruner took place Thursday at the bride’s mother in Sidney with Rev. W L Austin officiating at 3 pm. A wedding dinner followed. They will live on a ranch 13 miles northeast of Sidney. Many friends sent gifts including silverware, glassware, linen, and a gold bracelet for Mrs Bruner.
