Moorings and the Anchor of Faith in Jesus Christ
The sermon extols Jesus as a unique beacon whose life and teachings offer strength, comfort, and forgiveness. It argues in a world of upheaval that a firm anchor in God and the Word provides stability, citing the palm tree analogy and urging believers to seek living water through faith. The Rev. Ellis J. Votan of the First Christian Church in Sidney delivers the message as part of the Ministerial Association.
