On November 6 1922 the first Monday in November public auction will sell all lands and town lots in Cheyenne County delinquent for 1921 and prior years. Each tract will be offered to cover delinquent taxes interest and costs to date of sale. The sale is conducted by County Treasurer M Lancaster at his office continuing until all parcels are sold.
Counties may place a lien on real estate for all taxes owed to state, county, or subdivisions after three consecutive years of unsold tax sales. The County Commissioners order the county attorney to foreclose the delinquent tax lien as if it were a mortgage, effective within the same legal framework.
