Golden Link set for Interstate 80 dedication near Sidney
A six inch brass link will mark the joining of east and west on I-80 west of Sidney Nebraska in a full day celebration led by Gov Exon and other dignitaries. Parade, color guards, motorcycle and horse events, and a state coach ride accompany the dedication with traffic redirected along the route. The event includes a 5,000 attendee estimate and a 6 p.m. traffic readiness target, with post ceremony work on the 25 mile stretch toward Potter.

Amendments LB 772 On November Ballot Published Here Today
Four measures appear on the General Election ballot for Nov 5 in The Sidney Telegraph. The package includes the LB 772 referendum and three constitutional amendments. United Fund advances toward goal in Sidney drive
