The Sidney Military Band under Prof. Lynch will stage a free concert at the opera house next Friday evening October 31 at 7 30. The program includes Olympia Hippodrome Offenbachiana The Mill in the Forest The Holy City Lover Dreamland Waltz With Sword and Lance and a cornet and clarinet solo by band members. After the concert the floor will be cleared for dancing with a small fee for dancers benefiting the band.

Omaha reports show Nebraska corn yields higher than typical in several regions despite early summer drought.
