Grant review process heads agenda for PRC
Members of the Panhandle Resource Council Executive Board will review their A-95 Clearinghouse Review Process Thursday at Bridgeport. The meeting starts at 7 30 pm in Bridgeport City Hall. John Hoehne PRC Director recently returned from Lincoln to discuss planning programming and the Clearinghouse. The process reviews federal grant applications in the 11 county Panhandle area prior to funding. The State Office of Planning and Programming serves as the clearinghouse. The PRC provides local input by notifying potentially affected groups and acts as a communication device to raise awareness of planned activities. The A-95 process aims to limit duplication and unify local efforts. The PRC has circulated 103 funding requests since gaining Clearinghouse status on June 14 1974. Also on the agenda are meetings with county commissioners, criminal justice planning, effluent monitoring in North Platte Division, and PEP funding options. A copy of the agenda is at the PRC office 2402 Avenue I Scottsbluff. The public may attend.
