Regents expansion urged as Hoover Commission backs change
The Little Hoover Commission recommends expanding the Board of Regents to include Way ne Kearney Childron and Peru state colleges and creating a Council on Higher Education to coordinate all post high school programs. It also calls for a state junior college board and a plan to survey programs, costs, and enrollments to guide long range higher education policy.
