Counties hold a lien on real estate for taxes due after three consecutive tax sales without bidders. The county commissioners order foreclosure through the county attorney, with the lien treated like a mortgage for all delinquent taxes.
On November 1 1920 the first Monday in November there will be a public sale of all delinquent tax lands and town lots in Cheyenne County Nebraska to pay 1919 and prior year taxes interest and costs. The sale will be by public auction at the county treasurer M Lancaster office and continue daily until all tracts are sold.
