Judge Neville Upholds Detention in Artling Habeas Corpus Case
In Sidney on Monday Judge Neville heard the artling habeas corpus case and ruled there was no reason in his mind to free the defendant. Sheriff Fitch of Sterling received Bartling at the Colorado line that evening and delivered him to the sheriff. The costs were taxed against Bartling with an appeal bond set at 300 dollars.
