Burlington railroad man killed in Alliance yards
Fred Fulmer, 52, engineer for the Burlington railroad, was instantly killed Thursday morning in Alliance when a dump car dropped. Fulmer, working on the wrecking engine and dump cars, was crushed when the car’s heavy dump released. He had 21 years with the railroad, leaving a wife and two children.

Gasoline Explosion Burns Two Girls Near Bull Canyon

Oshkosh Pioneer John Robinson Dies After Long Illness
John Robinson, age 76, longtime Oshkosh resident and prominent stockman in Garden County, Nebraska, died at his home after months of illness. Born November 25, 1850 in Daviess County Illinois, he moved to Nebraska in 1868 and later worked as a butcher in Columbus and St. Paul before settling in the western panhandle in 1885. He is survived by his daughter Mrs. E. D. Hutchison of Sidney.
