Counties hold a lien on real estate for overdue taxes after three consecutive tax sale offers without bids. The County Commissioners order the county attorney to foreclose the lien for all delinquent taxes, using the same method as a mortgage with similar effect.
Notice announces a November 1 1920 public sale of all cheyenne County Nebraska lands and town lots with delinquent 1919 and prior taxes. The treasurer Lancaster will conduct a daily auction at his office until all parcels are offered for full tax, interest and sale costs.
