K N Natural Gas Rate Hike Likely Approved by City Council

The Sidney City Council is expected to approve a proposed 25 percent increase in local natural gas rates for Kansas Nebraska Natural Gas Co. The 3 monthly bill rise would take effect January 1, 1976, after two months of review. The meeting at City Hall opens at 7 30 p.m. with public access.

Park ducks moved to winter quarters at Sunol

Park superintendent Leonard Erickson says 14 ducks from the Legion Park lagoon were moved to winter quarters at Sunol last week. Loomis Booth will winter the ducks, while six privately owned ducks were also moved for winter by their owners.
