Huge murals grace downtown Cozad during Centennial year
Cozad marks its Centennial with two large murals in the downtown area. One 100-feet long mural on Evans Frozen Bakery Products wall was painted by Cozad Art Club members and features the old locomotive at Cozad’s 100th Meridian. A second 8 by 15-foot mural on Dodd's Department Store north wall was created by Cozad High School art students with about 25 gallons of exterior latex used.
