Wheat Growers Plan Expanded Market For Nebraska
The Nebraska Wheat Growers Association outlined a 1961 program to build larger markets by tailoring production and prices, stressing independence as a non commercial commodity group, expanding public relations, and year round member education funded by dues. Newly elected president John J Lienemann of Scottsbluff emphasized farmer representation and closer farm group cooperation in legislative efforts. The plan aims to raise farmer income and strengthen the agricultural economy through collaboration with like minded organizations.
