A small Bargain Counter grew into three large counters full of seasonable goods and odds and ends. Items are clearly marked at very low prices with discounts claimed for five years of patronage. Shoppers are promised outfits at less than other stores.
Local retailer touts superior selection with heavy ribbed vests for ladies at 25c and woolen cotton options. They claim better value than inferior goods elsewhere with items selling for 80c to 1.00.
Advertisement for 16 ounce cotton battings at 12 percent discount. Lists two pieces, each seven feet long, as part of the sale. Targeted to customers seeking full staple batting material.

The Board trades Ginn & Co. books for American Book Co. editions, about five hundred fifty volumes exchanged with freight paid both ways.
Arrangements completed for a Pullman Tourist Sleeper running Minneapolis and St Paul to Los Angeles via Sioux City and Columbus without transfer. Sleeper departs Minneapolis Thursdays at 7 40 p m St Paul 8 35 p m, returns Los Angeles Thursdays at 2 00 p m. E L LoMax and Union Pacific agents available for space and information.
In Sidney Nebraska on November 9 1895 the County Board of Commissioners adjourned to November 16 re McMullan versus Wellner due to canvassing. By November 18 the board audited road and bridge fund claims and approved expenses for the State Irrigation Convention. the McMullan case was dismissed for lack of supporting testimony.
