Wet and Cold Forecast Keeps Western Plains Wet Through December

A trace of moisture was recorded in the Sidney area as a north moving storm front passes. Southern and eastern zones report heavier moisture with light snow possible in eastern Wyoming and western Nebraska. roads may be slick if temperatures drop near freezing though daytime conditions appear above freezing. The Weather Bureau predicts above normal moisture through most of December with below normal temperatures, signaling a wet and cold trend for farming regions.

Plans U K rest home addition advances at Memorial

Preliminary drawings for an eight room addition to Memorial Hospital were approved by the board. Architect J Herward Duncan outlined the plans, with total project cost estimated between 90 000 and 100 900 including furnishings. Submittal to contractors is planned by February or March.
