Gurley Lions Hear Wheatbelt Essay Winner
The Gurley Lions Club met November 8 at Salem Lutheran Church with a turkey dinner. Four new members were admitted Verdell Lessman Ross Gatheman Roger Sorge and Ronald Oliver. Lion Van Lessig spoke on the Wheatbelt Public Power Essay contest with slides of Washington DC. Lions plan a November 10 pancake feed for sight conservation and youth activities and seek discarded eyeglasses through November 21.
