The Village Board in Sidney hosted a social at Trognitz hall last Saturday. About twenty invited guests attended as Judge Norvell presented Charles Trognitz with a gold headed cane, praising his enterprise and public spirit. Toasts followed from officials and guests, and the Twenty-First Infantry orchestra provided music, making the evening enjoyable. The cane bore an inscription naming Trognitz and the year 1886. The gathering adjourned about 11:30 with wishes for his continued success.
